Kompetencie
Obec Turie vznikla 10. 12. 1990 zo zákona 369/1990 Zb. o obecnom zriadení a združuje občanov, ktorí majú na jej území trvalý pobyt. Obec samostatne rozhoduje a uskutočňuje všetky úkony súvisiace so správou obce a jej majetku, ak osobitný zákon takéto úkony nezveruje štátu alebo inej právnickej alebo fyzickej osobe. Na výkon samosprávy slúžia obci samosprávne orgány – starosta a obecné zastupiteľstvo. Obecné zastupiteľstvo zriaďuje podľa potreby ďalšie svoje orgány, a to obecnú radu, komisie pri obecnom zastupiteľstve a iné dočasné výkonné, alebo kontrolné orgány a určuje im náplň práce. Obecný úrad je výkonným orgánom obecného zastupiteľstva a starostu obce.

Competences
The village Turie was constituted on 10.12. 1990 according to the law No. 369/1990 Col. about municipal constitution and associates its permanent residents. The village community makes resolutions on its own behalf and acts independently in matters connected with municipal administration and village property, unless these matters are entrusted to the state or other legal body by a special law. The municipal administration is carried out by the Mayor and the board of deputies (Village Parliament). If need, the board of deputies may establish another units and determine their competences: Municipal Council, special committees, and other temporary executive or control bodies. The executive power of the Mayor and the Village Parliament is represented by the Municipal Office.
